Send Spring Flowers To A Loved one

This is a story that concerns the significance of giving flowers to someone you love on Valentine's Day.

"Why is it that women never send flowers to men? Most men have never received flowers from a woman, and it is not something that is common or widely accepted in our society. A few years ago, I decided that I would stray from the norm and buy my husband flowers as part of a romantic Valentine's Day celebration that I had planned. His plan for the evening was of course, a romantic dinner. My plan on the other hand included something out of the ordinary and unexpected, yet still romantic. I knew that sending him flowers would undoubtedly let him know that our relationship was spontaneous and pleasurable.

There was a major snowstorm that left a foot of snow at our house that night. He was extremely sick with a stomach virus. So much for his romantic dinner plans. I had planned a romantic treasure hunt that would end in a passionate kiss. So much for that plan. The only part of Valentine's Day that we were able to celebrate that night was the flowers that I had sent him."

When a person chooses to send flowers to another, that individual may have several motives. Some persons might elect to make this gesture out of friendship or caring or sympathy. Some may choose to do this to celebrate an important event, such as a job promotion, or to acknowledge an accomplishment, such as performing in a music recital.

Celebrations. like Mother's Day and birthdays, are a good reason to send spring flowers. Another option is to send a favorite type of posy. The recipient's preferred hue or color theme is an excellent way to decide what special flowers for spring would be most appropriate. There are many spring flowers to choose from, including daisies, crocuses, cherry blossoms, and tulips.

There are now any number of possibilities for individuals to send flowers. The simplest is to look on the web or phone a florist and pay with plastic. Alternatively, if you are in the area, consider going into a shop and finding just the right choice. Delivery can be done by you or one of their handy associates. No matter how the transaction is accomplished, remember to send flowers.

People still send flowers for sentimental reasons, of course. Every kind of flower had its own meaning in the Victorian era, and a few types of flower had more than one meaning. Azaleas stood for abundance, while irises symbolized inspiration. A few flowers' meanings, however, were not so positive. Giving lavender stood for distrust, and striped carnations meant rejection.

So it is probably a good thing to ask a few questions or do a bit of research before sending flowers to send a message to a loved one or mark a special occasion. Those flowers you send will speak to people in ways you may not even be aware of.
